Try as hard as I can I cannot get Remove Tool (in Beta 24.7) to remove the face in the example you give. I don’t know where I am going wrong as I am following the instructions to the letter. Any advice would be much appreciated.

PS needs generative fill to understand the word remove. That would be the best of both.

I totally agree! Need to use both tools. I’m hoping one day there will be a way to tell generative fill that you want to fill with background versus new objects.

Both tools has its pros and cons. I would be using both (including the older Contents Aware Fill as well), I am currently processing thousands of scanned images – and Generative Fill will have taken too much time. Except when Content Aware Fill fails totally – then I use Gen Fill.

Very useful analysis – good examples for comparison of the different methods. No outright ‘winner’ just that the answer is to combine the strengths of each tool. Thanks for the demo.
