Colin, your tutorials are amazing, I am new at PS and I am 74 years old, you have make possible for me to have some fun with something I didn’t know I was going to be able to do, Your tutorials are clear, and the printed steps are an invaluable help. thank you very much for givin me and others this opportunity. I use it to do simple thing for my kids and grandkids.

It doesn’t seem to work as smooth for me although MUCH Better than previous versions. When I’m using the brush to refine the selection, I do not get the grayed out path that shows for you. Is that an option I’m missing somewhere? (PC)

Hi Richard – I sympathise!!
To be fair to Colin, he did say right at the beginning, ‘If you know you’re going to cut out your model later, then don’t shoot her against a complicated background’.
At 9.24, Colin says “…. someone’s going to ask ‘Why didn’t we use it against a difficult background?’ “. Colin then gives a brief review of what might be tried.
I’m sure the guys at Vogue have smarter tricks, but PhotoshopCAFE isn’t aimed at Vogue pro’s.
