a little update of what I have tried so far:

My PC a bit old: Intel i-3110M GeForce GT 740M 12 GB RAM

I have tried the following:

First disabling Windows Aero by choosing a non Aero Windows Theme in Personalization Panel in Windows (I have read that Aero transparency could interfere with PS)

enabling Legacy Compositing in Ps Preferences disabling nVidia videoprocessor in Ps Preferences then reenabling and set Advanced Settings to minimum

disabling nVidia videoprocessor for Ps in nVidia Control Panel then reenabling for Ps Graphics Card on with Advanced Settings with minimum

I have no other idea what could be done to solve this error

Please help me with this issue

Thank you

I’m just going to put this out there to the community, if anyone can help.

I have the following error with Photoshop 2020
on Windows 7
when in warp and trying to select multiple points
1st issue when holding down Shift and clicking left mouse for selecting multi points no boundary rectangle appears, could not select any points
2nd issue when clicking on a point, it gets selected, and after selecting this first point, holding down the Shift and clicking on a second point, though points between the first and the second one become selected, a Windows error message appears with ‘Photoshop 2020 has stopped working’ and practically Ps shuts down only you can do is clicking on Windows error message to close Photoshop

My PC a bit old:
Intel i-3110M
GeForce GT 740M
12 GB RAM

I have tried the following:

enabling Legacy Compositing in Ps Preferences
disabling nVidia videoprocessor in Ps Preferences

disabling nVidia videoprocessor for Ps in nVidia Control Panel

disabling Windows Aero by choosing a non Aero Windows Theme in Personalization Panel in Windows
(I have read that Aero transparency could interfere with PS)

I have no other idea what could be done to solve this error

Please help me with this issue

Thank you

I don’t use Elements, but maybe someone can answer. (But, it sounds like you might be sourcing an empty folder)

Of late when I try to ‘Process Multiple Files’ it tells me the source file is empty. But it’s not. Editor will open the files, as will Preview. This happens on both computers. What’s happening?

Oh, that sounds strange. Have you tried resetting your preferences?

Are you able to shed any light on this strange behaviour? Thanks.

You definitely would benefit from more RAM. I can’t say if it will fix that particular issue

Anyway i want to ask, so before that i use Windows 10 with 12GB RAM (4+8) with usable 9.9 GB RAM and i run trial version PS CC 2021 version 22.3. The problem is when i select shape layers with pen tool, it become slowly and lagging, is it because of my RAM or anything? Should i upgrade my RAM again with 4+16 to 20GB? I install previous version 21.2.6 and i still have same problem too. My integrated VRAM is 2GB.
